Time for a ‘Busa! I kid. Gear up, have fun, remember they don’t see you and ride accordingly. You will love every minute.

Congrats man! I’ve been seriously considering joining the two-wheel club lately...

Enjoy a picture of the bike a realistically want!

Kinja'd!!!

But if I do go that route, I’ll probably end up with a Ninja 300. lol

Aesthetically speaking I find the Busa to be one of the nicest looking bikes out there. Such a timeless design. It’ll be a few years down the road if it ever happens.

Yes a Gixxer 600 would be my ideal bike. But I can’t afford one yet so it will have to wait. My neighbour has a 2008 Gixxer 600 and he just lost his job so he might become desperate for cash so who knows what the future will bring.

My buddy just bought a wrecked ZX10R last fall for 2700, and we’ve been working on fixing the plastics and electrics. The chassis, engine and trans are all in good shape, but literally all the fairings are trashed. Hopefully we can get it fixed soon.

He also has a decent 08 Ninja 250R that he says he’ll sell me for 1800 haha

My neighbour bought his with 6000 miles for $3700 bucks. He bought it of a guy who lost his job and needed cash to survive now the neighbour is in the same position. If I’d offer him what he paid for it I’m sure he’d let it go. The only problem is I don’t have any money either.

That’s the problem with being an oppo. All of the want, none of the money...

Actually I was looking for your series of writeups but couldn’t find it too easily.

Take an MSF course.

Why? I already know how to ride a bike as I’ve ridden motocross for years. From what I’ve seen, the MSF course(in my area at least) is definitely geared towards people who have never tossed a leg over a bike. 80% of the course is focused on clutch control, balance, shifting, braking, ect.

Yes for sure there are some things I could benefit from at the MSF course but not at the cost of $650 bucks.
